Give a Hawk!

Yes, we said it. Give a hawk. Give some of your time to give back to the community here at the University of Iowa. We can connect you to just about any organization in Iowa City and surrounding communities.

We don’t want you to keep these resources to yourself. Share this information with those that you think may benefit from receiving these services.

Current Opportunities with ECGPS

There are a variety of ways to get involved in ECGPS. ECGPS consists of an executive board and a council. To be on the council, one must contact their member government within their specific college and find out what the process is to be a delegate to ECGPS. Each member government has a different way of selecting ECGPS delegates. The council is comprised of 12 delegates, which is two delegates per member government. To be on the executive board one must nominated themselves and participate in the spring elections. A mass email is sent out each spring with a call for nominations. In addition, one can get involved without formally joining ECGPS. Throughout the year there are various volunteer opportunities, events, lectures, etc that individuals can help organize and attend. To find out more opportunities like this, please check out the information below!
